The 2025 Xiang Super League is about to open in grand fashion. As part of the celebrations, two mascots blending Huxiang culture with the spirit of football were officially unveiled to the public. The mascots come in a pair, inspired respectively by “Super Rice” and the red-billed leiothrix (Hunan’s provincial bird). One is a bright, sunny young footballer with a spiky rice-sheaf hairstyle; the other is the lively red-billed leiothrix.
